Their relentless offensive pressure continued throughout the game. In the 21st minute of the first half, senior striker Rheala Herrera unleashed a powerful 20-yard shot from the right side of the pitch, sailing it over the goalkeeper’s head to extend the Tigers’ lead to 2-0.

     The Bronco defense, under constant siege, resorted to bolstering their defensive ranks in a bid to withstand the relentless Tiger attack. In the 29th minute, senior midfielder Summer Steele delivered a pinpoint corner kick to the center of the box, where sophomore Autumn Villanueva executed a flawless header, widening the gap to 3-0. As the first half concluded, the Tigers held a commanding lead. Their momentum didn’t waiver in the second half, as senior Jaylin Medina found the back of the net, further solidifying their dominance at 4-0.

     Senior Estrella sealed the deal, concluding the scoring for the Tigers, as they clinched a convincing 5-0 victory. This win now sets the stage for an exciting quarterfinal clash as the Aztec Lady Tigers head to Los Alamos to take on the #4 Hilltoppers on Saturday.
